(a) 1920 Otero Co. Census records for Cloudcroft, Otero, New Mexico ed. 126 sheet 2A;  William Walker Buckner is listed as a pioneer photographer for the Sacramento Mountains. His pictures are distinctive for the period because many of them are framed well and show a favorite or non favorite activity. Lilla Mae Westlake Buckner had TB as a girl and live in El Paso.  She was an accomplished pianist.  Some of their life is documented in the Otero County Histories. They contributed much to the early history of the mountains, as did their children.
