The Vermejo Cemetery is located one-half mile south of NM SR 505 at the Stubblefield Dam. The dam is located approximately seven miles west of Maxwell, NM. The three rows, from the south to the north, were recorded from the east to the west by Dixie Odom and Nancy Robertson on 2 November 2001.
The brackets "[ ]" indicate additional information not found on the tombstone.  This cemetery is on private land and has no access road. Sauz Creek (Johnson) Cemetery

The Sauz Creek or Johnson Cemetery is located 4.5 miles south of Abbott on the west side of State Highway 39. Sauz Creek is a tributary of the Canadian River. Editorial Note (E.P.J.): There is also a Johnson Mesa Cemetery 13 miles east of Raton on NM 72, and a Johnson Park (or St. John's Methodist) Cemetery 13 miles SE of Raton.
