POLANCO, Benigna A., 91, lifelong resident of Las Cruces, died Sept 9, 2000 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Oct. 18, 1908 in Las Cruces to Ignacio Angel and Cecilia SAUCEDO POLANCO. He was a homemaker. Survivors include her four sons, Oswaldo and wife Virginia, Rodolfo and wife JoAnn, Rogelio and wife Anna and Amado, Jr., daughter, Hermelinda SILVA and husband Celso all of Las Cruces and nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Amado POLANCO, brother, Joe ANGEL and sister, Elisa CASTILLO. Interment at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Getz Funeral Home. Pallbearers are BENIGNA'S grandsons and granddaughters.

Survivors include a son, Raymond GEE the 3rd, and wife Michelle of Carlsbad; daughter, Lisa SANCHEZ and husband Chris of Las Cruces; and three grandchildren, Jeff and David GEE and Gabriela SANCHEZ. WALTER, Frederic Bruno, 32, of Deming died Sept 10, 2000, at Thomason General Hospital in El Paso, TX. Bright Funeral Home. Interment with full military honors will be in Ft. Bayard National Cemetery. Her was born Oct. 20, 1967 in Val D'or, Canada. Son of Fred Walter and Alberta GIRAULT WALTER. Survived by his 21-month old daughter, Savannah of Kansas; parents Fred and Alberta WALTER of Houston, TX., three sister, Monika DALLA VISTA of Tucson, AZ., and Dominque GRAY of Alamogordo and Claudine SHOUMAN of Las Cruces, one brother, Pascal WALTER of Beamsville, Canada; two nieces, Courtney and Stephanie GRAY; one nephew, Justin WALTER. He loved his beloved dogs Bud and Shelia. He served six years in the U. S. Navy and was owner and operator of "On The Road Again Truck Repair" in Deeming. Pallbearers were, Steve GRAY, Kamal SHOUMAN, Tony DALLA VISTA, Harold LAROCHE, Sam ETHERIDGE and Jesse ETHERIDGE. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carlos MYERS and Mario RIVER.
