San Rafael Cemetery
Jean Whiting and Henrietta Martinez Christmas
San Rafael is located approximately 40 miles northeast of Santa Rosa, 46 miles east of Las Vegas. From the intersection of State Roads 104 and 419 at new Trementina, travel east 2 miles on SR 104 to county road C56A, a dirt road. Then 2.5 miles north. (Sec 25/T15N-R23E on the Variadero Quadrangle Map) The church is well maintained and the cemetery is still in use. It is fenced with wire.
The cemetery was copied by Jean Whiting on 24 June 1989 and independently copied by Henrietta Martinez Christmas on 5 August 1996. It was then checked and updated on 5 November 1996 by Jean Whiting. The Society is grateful to these two individuals for their time and effort.
