2- Eulalla M. Rodriguez, 72, of Taos, NM. Passed away in her home 4 Sept 1994. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born 8 Sept 1921 to Santiago Miera and Cornelia Cruz. She married Albert Rodriguez 29 Nov 1937 in Taos at her family's home. She is survived by her husband Albert; Daughters Mabel (Ernest) Valerio, Viola (Henry) Sandoval of Taos, Carmen (Victor) Correa of Questa and Connie Knight of Albuq; Sons Adam Rodriguez of Taos, Albert (Petrona) Rodriguez of Leesburg, Fl. 17 grand children and 20 great-grand children; Mother Cornelia Cruz de Miera of Penasco, NM; Brothers Santiago, Jamie (Margaret) Miera of Albuq and sister Magdalena (Reginald) McBriety of Brownsburg, Id. 3- Joseph Manuel Bozada, Funeral services were held at 3 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Sept 2, 1994 in The Delhomme Bertrand Chapel of The Flowers, Lafayette, La, for Joseph M. Bozada, 55, who died at 10:55 P. M. Wednesday Aug 31, 1994 at the Lafayette General Medical Center Hospital. Rev. Martin Borcherding, Pastor of The Holy Cross Catholic Church celebrated the Mass. Joe was a native of Alice, Tx, the son of Joe M. Bozada and the late Isabel Valio. Employed by the J. C. Penny store since 1963, he has worked in San Antonio, Tx, Mc Allen, Tx and Lake Charles before being promoted to General Manager of the J. C. Penny store in Taos, NM. He than became manager of of the store in Lafayette, 6 years ago. While in Taos, he became s member of the Rotary Club, serving as their President, joined the Rotary Club of Manhatten, Ks and was presently of the Rotary Club North of Lafayette. While in Taos he was very active with the American Cancer Society. In Lafayette he was presently involved with upgrading Education in our area and was the proud owner of various Thoroughbred race horses. Mr. Bozada is survived by his wife the former Suzel Trevino of Lafayette; Father Jose Manuel Bozada of Hebronville,Tx; Sons Christopher A. Bozada of Dayton, Ohio, Thomas A. Bozada of Fairbanks, Ak, Joseph M. Bozada of Roanoake, Va, and Saul A. 4- Julian Manuel Coca, 30, 1982 graduate of Taos High School passed away 8 Sept 1994 in Denver, Co. Survived by 5 brothers; Harry Coca, Jose Coca of Taos, Guillermo Voigt, Fred Voigt and Lario Juan Voigt; Sisters Irene Ortivez, Marcella Vallejos, Ida Voigt, Irene LeDoux of Denver, Co, Rosalita Duran of Penasco, NM, Lucille Trujillo, Gorine Silva Grand and Della Coca of Taos, NM. 5- Larry Albert Trujillo, 32, of Canon, NM, died in an automobile accident on Thursday 8 Sept 1994. He is survived by his father Manuel "Manjo" Trujillo, Mother Susana C. 6- Ramoncita Vigil of Llano Quemado, NM passed away in Santa Fe, NM. 5 Sept 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Vigil. Survived by her children Elsie and Juan Romero of Santa Fe, NM; Grandchildren Max Romero of Santa Fe and JoAnn (Ben) Chapman of Albuq. Great grandchildren Nathan Chapman of Albuq. 7- Antonia Arellano, 97, passed away at Holy Cross Hospital Taos, NM. 27 Aug 1994. She is survived by Daughters Celia (Billy) Santistevan of Santa Fe and Casilda (Demetrio) Lovato of Costilla; Son Eloy (Lillian) Arellano of Costilla, NM. 11 grandchildren and 17 Great Grand Children and 1 great-great grandson; Brothers Felix, Benito, Moises and Johnny R. 8- Felix D. Martinez, 69, of Coriderilla, NM. Passed away 23 Sept 1994 after a lengthly illness. Preceded in death by his wife Dorotea "Dorothy" H. Martinez in 1991, sister Teofila Trujillo. Survived by children Evana (Dan) Moriarty of Santa Fe, Danny (Vicky) Martinez of Cordillera and Marie Martinez of Albuq. Grandchildren includes Marty,Maria Elena, Alana Tomisita Moriarty and Desiree Martinez' Siblings Tillie Romero of Ranchos, Manuelita (George) Chavez of Cordillera, George D. Martinez of Los Cordovas, Benito (Viola) V. Martinez of Santa Fe, Betty (Roy) Martinez of Los Cordovas, Dolores (Eli) Herrera of Ranchos de Taos, Tomas (Consuelo) Martinez of Ranchos de Taos, Brother-in-law Arturo "Fasho" Trujillo of El Prado and his special friend Ed. 9- Seberiana Fernandez, 89, of Ranchos de Taos, NM Passed away 21 Sept 1994 at her home. She is survived by her children Jake ( Celina) Mascarenas of Grants, NM, Armando (Cecilia) Fernandez of Colo Springs, Co. Vice Archuleta of Ranchos de Taos,NM, Mela( Claude) Esquibel of Taos, NM and Henry Fernandez of Ranchos de taos, NM. Grandchildren reared by her Ramona and Michael Fernandez. 10- Beatrice S. Cordova , 86, of Amalia, NM. Died 15 Oct 1994 in Albuq, NM. She is survived by her husband Ben; Children Irma (George) Wagner of Albuq, Henry (Nila) Cordova of Las Cruces, Sais (Betha) Corvova of Denver, Rita (Ray) Martinez of Taos and Katie Cordova (Victor) Quintana of Taos; 13 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; Sisters Rebecca Trujillo and Amada Maes; Brothers Celestino Sanchez and Willie Sanchez.Interment at the Amalia NM Cemetery. 20 Oct 1994 A-13.

11- Henry Lujan, 84, of Taos Pueblo, NM passed away thursday 13 Oct 1994 at Holy Cross Hospital. Former Taos Pueblo Governor and U. S. Army Veteran, he served in the 200th Coast Artillery during World War II and traveled widely throughout the South Pacific during his tour of duty. Survived by his wife Margaret Lujan of Taos Pueblo, NM; Children Thelma Lujan, Albino J. Lujan, Henrietta Lujan, Bernadette Lujan, Barbara Lujan Corriel and Dana Lujan. 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; Brother Juan G. Lujan; Sister Maria L. 12- Jose L. Cortez, 70, of Taos, NM. Born 25 Feb 1924, died 12 Oct 1994. Preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Cortez and son Eddie Cortez. 15- David A. Vargas Jr., 22, of Taos, NM, passed away 9 Oct 1994. A 1991 graduate of Taos High School. 16- Efren Mascarenas, 80, of Vadito, NM. Passed away at Holy Cross Hospital 3 Oct 1994. 17- Eluid J. Trujillo, 77 of Talpa, NM. Passed away at his residence 8 Oct 1994. 18- Gustavo A. (Gus) Gonzales, 72, passed away Saturday 1 Oct 1994 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Gonzales was born in Mexico City 16 Sept 1922 and married to Arabella L. Santistevan. He is retired from the U. S. Army and served during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. BPOE-460, FOE 2811, VFW and Retired Officers Association. Survived by wife Arabella L. Gonzales; Sons Gustavo Jr. and wife Denise of Taos, John F. Wheeler and Wife Renee of Santa Fe, Floyd S. Wheeler and wife Kathy of Belen,
Michael A. Wheeler of Albuq.; Daughters Natalie Gonzales and husband Bill of Puyallup. Wa, Bernadette L. Casados and husband Ernest of Santa Fe, Camille M. Mitchell and husband Robert of Aurora,Co; Sisters Amparo Cohn and Josephine Gonzales of Taos; Brothers Tony Gonzales and wife Cecilia of Albuq, Juan I. 19- Alfredo Martinez Sr., 82,passed away in Vadito, NM 18 Oct 1994. He was preceded in death by his wife Claudia, He is survived by 11 children. (Names not listed). Services have been held. 27 Oct 1994 B-6.

20- Arthur Rueben Leach, 77, passed away 22 Oct 1994. A former World War II Veteran and former Police Chief of Taos, NM. He retired in 1972. Survived by wife Eulalia Leach of Taos, NM; Sister Lavonne DuBois-Heston. Interment at Las Cruces Taos, NM Cemetery. With full Military Honors. 27 Oct 1994 B-6.

21- Donny D. Murray, 66, passed away 18 Oct 1994 in El Paso, Tx. She was a resident of Taos Ski Valley, NM from 1966 to 1982. Survived by her husband Roy A. Murray; Sons Roy a Murray Jr.and Kevin D. Murray; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Service held at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Tx. 27 Oct 1994 B-6.

23- Felipe "Felipito" Padilla, 74, passed away 1 Oct 1994 at Hacinda de Saludad in Espanola, NM. He was the uncle of Elsie O. 24- Roland Cook, 79, A resident of Espanola passed away suddenly late tuesday night at the Espanola Hospital, NM. Mr. Cook was a Lt. in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He worked as a mechanic in his early years and was later a farmer and rancher until his retirement. 26- Cora E. Santistevan, 15, passed away 26 Oct 1004 as a result of an automobile accident. 28- Sara M. Katz died 3 Sept 1994 after a long illness. She is survived by her mother Margaret Morse and nephew Zachary, both of Brookline, Mass. She is also survived by another nephew and two nieces (names not listed). She was a real person and you don't run into them very often. 3 Nov 1994 A-15.

32- Juanita Natividad Cintas Sisneros, 70, passed away at her home Saturday 29 Oct 1994 after a lengthy illness. She was born 14 April 1924 to Demecio Cintas and Celia Barela Cintas Duran. Preceded in death by her husband Albert Sisneros in 1993, one brother in 1992 and her father in 1956. Survived by her mother Celia Duran of Espanola, NM; Brother Joe (Rose) Cintas; Daughters Christine ( Lewis Vigil of Taos, Helen Margaret Cintas of La Junta,Co; Step-son Manuel (Angie) Sisneros of Springer, NM; Step-daughters Sophia Garcia of Springer and Stella Armijo of Wagon Mound. 7 grandchildren and 3 great grand daughters. 33- Jose Bonifacio Chavez, 87, of Ranchos de Taos, NM passed away at Holy Cross Hospital 9 Nov 1994. A former watch maker, Machinist and wood carving artist. Bill Stapp will be remembered as a loving kind and decent man. 44- Donald Joseph Gardner, 67, a craftsman and artist, died Thursday 24 Nov 1994 at his home in Columbia, Ca, after a long illness. Mr. Gardner was born in Longview, Wash, and had lived in Columbia for two years. He had previously lived in Taos, NM for 40 years. Mr. Gardner was self employed, designing and building fine furniture. He served in the Army from 1946 to 1948. 50- Alan Geoffery James, 52, passed away at his home Friday 9 Dec 1994 at 11:15 PM due to complications of the AIDS virus. He is survived a sister Valerie James of Ojai, Ca; Brothers Ronald James; His companion David Fredericks of Taos and close friend Steve Torres also of Taos. Alan was born in San Francisco, then moved to Colo in 1969. He and David moved to Taos in 1987 where Alan owned an antique print business in the Cabot Plaza mall. 51- Arquin "Larkie" Trujillo, 44, passed away late Thursday evening 10 Nov 1994. Beloved husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lourdes Trujillo and daughter Leanne Trujillo of the family home; Daughter and son-in-law Bernadette and Charles Miller of Las Vegas, Nv; Mother Carlotta Trujillo of Taos. Preceded in death by his Father Meliton Trujillo in 1993. He was currently employed at the University Hospital in the Food and Nutrition Department. He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was born and raised in Taos, NM and moved to Albuq in 1973. 52- Denise Phyllis Perraglio, 31, lifelong resident of Ojo Caliente, NM. Passed Away Friday evening 2 Dec 1994 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Denise was an honor student throughout her college years and was a graduate of UNM. Upon graduation from UNM she entered into public relation for the State of New Mexico. She hosted National Dignitaries such as President George Bush, she was a planner for Governor Gary Caruthers inaugural ball. She transferred to the West Coast and worked for a broker and later with California Attorney Dennis Roberts. She relocated to Taos, NM and was presently working with the Dennis Sanchez Law Firm. Preceded in death by her father Phillip Perraglio 19 Nov 1990, her fiance Larry Trujillo 9 Sept 1994 and an uncle Pete Jaramillo in May of 1993. She is survived by her Mother Tillie Perraglio of Ojo Caliente; Brother and his finance Enrico Perraglio and Bonita Burkheimer of Ojo Caliente; Uncles Kenneth Perraglio and wife Pat of La Mesilla, Ronald Perraglio and wife Martha of La Mesilla, Roger Perraglio and wife Jeri of La Cueva, Manuel Jaramillo and wife Alice of Santa Fe, Fermin Jaramillo and wife Teresa and Armando Jaramillo and wife Erlinda both of Ojo Caliente; Aunt Bernie Jaramillo of Espanola. Best friend Marrkene Adair of Taos. He became a resident of Taos in 1965, after 30 years of teaching at Lake Forest Country Day School, Lake Forest, Ill.
