Following is part 5 of the obits as found in the News Paper La Revista de Taos, NM. 1910, 1911, 1912, and 1913.

1- Juan Seledon Lopez of Des Montes, NM. Died 1 Jan 1910 when a pistol; he had placed in his pocket fell on the ground, discharged and the bullet struck him in the leg. He died later that night. As was the custom he had been going to the homes of the people named Manuel or Manuela to "Dar les los dias." Serenade them.

2- Elvira M. de Miera Age 24 years and 3 days of Velarde, Rio Arriba County, NM. Died 28 Dec 1909 of Tisis Tuberculosis. She was born 25 Dec 1885. Survived by husband Flavio M. Miera, daughters Elena age 5, Lucia age 3 and Francisquita age 1 years. Parents Mr. & Mrs. Pablo Martinez.

3- Isidora Archuleta de Griego of Chico, (Guadalupita) NM. Died 9 Dec 1909 of Pulmonia (Pneumonia). Survived by Husband Alfonso Griego. Brothers Onofre and Alfonso.

4- David Guara Age 2 years, 11 months and 8 days of Taos, NM. Died 22 Dec 1909. Survived by parents Felix Guara and Wife, Brother and grandparents. Names not listed.

5- Serepio Menor was shot and killed by Cayetano Torres and son. 12 Dec 1909. Serepio Menor was herding sheep. The killers fled towards Shoemaker. Mora County, NM. and were apprehended and arrested 3 days later in Watrous, NM located nearby.

6- GUadalupe Chacon Age 78 of Alcalde Rio Arriba County NM. Died no date listed. Funeral was held 30 Dec 1909. Survived by wife and son. No names listed.

7- Maria Evarista R. de Cisneros Age 47 of Questa, NM. Married Julian Cisneros, they were married for 31 years, 2 months and 20 days. Survived by husband 2 sons and 2 adopted son names not listed.

8- Martita Trujillo Age 19 of Weston, Colo. Daughter of Carmelita Martinez and the deceased Juan D. Trujillo, died No date listed. Date of news papers edition 14 Jan 1910.

9- Juan B. Trujillo resident of Embudo, Rio Arriba County NM was murdered at the annual function of San Jose De Gracia Trampas, NM. 29 Dec 1909 Solemn religious occasion for the village ending with a great dance.He was killed during a fight at the end of the dance. The coroners jury's investigation said that he died at the hands of Jose Secundino Lopez, Benito Lovato, Adan Dominguez, Juan Lucero, Juan Lovato and Matias Vasquez.They have all been arrested and jailed to await the district court trials.

10- Josefita V. Trujillo Age 40 years and 4 months of Carracas, Colo died at her home 5:00 PM Thursday 23 Dec 1909. She is survived by 5 brothers no names listed. Husband Jose Maria Trujillo 2 sons Manuelito and Salomon Trujillo.

11- Leandra L. de Bustos of El Provenir, NM. Died 4 Dec 1909. Survived by 2 sons. No names listed.

12- Luis Trujillo Age 76 of Llano de Romerillo near Santa Cruz Rio Arriba County, NM. Died (No date listed) Date of News paper edition 21 Jan 1910. Survived by wife Antonia Salazar, 3 sons and 1 daughter. No names listed.

13- Escolastico Martinez of Arroyo Seco, NM Died 11 Jan 1910 at 6:00 AM of Tisis (Tuberculosis). Survived by his wife and children. No names listed. Brother who submitted the death notice Seferino Martinez y Marquez.

14- Ramon Domingues of Vigil, Colo. Died 9 Jan 1910. He was born in Chamisal, NM 17 Aug 1837. He married 1st- Maria Ignacia Zamora July 1857, she died 1858. He then married 2nd- Carmelita Leyba. He served as Secretary of School District and Justice of the Peace for several terms.

17- Maximo Sandoval Age 45 of Corrumpa, NM. Born in San Miguel County Left his parents side 13 April 1892. Died 11 Jan 1910.

21- Juana Fidelina Vigil age 8 months, 4 days of Santa Cruz Rio Arriba County, NM. Died 19 Jan 1910 of Pulmonia (Pneumonia). Parents Manuel de Jesus Vigil and Patricia Montoya de Vigil.

24- Librada Gonzales Age 70 of Rock Springs, Wyo. Died at 8:45 AM 7 Feb 1910. We were informed by telegraph. Mrs. Gonzales was an old Taos, NM resident.

25- Maria Cristina Santistevan Age 1 year, 4 months and 4 days of Costilla, NM. Died 4 Feb 1910 at 9:30 died of Difteria (Diphtheria). Survived by parents names not listed.

37- Damiana Borrego de Writz Age 50 of Santa Fe, NM. Died 15 Feb 1910 at 7:30 AM. Wife of the deceased Enrique Wirtz. Survived by adopted daughter Nenie Wirtz. Buried at Nuestra Senora del Rosarion cemetery Santa Fe, NM.

39- Rosalia L. de Rivera Age 80 of El Rito Rio Arriba County, NM. Died 21 Feb 1910. She was born in 1830. Survived by sons: Rumaldo Rivera from El Rito, NM, Demetrio Rivera from Diamante, NM. Daughters F. R. Rivera de Gallegos from Tucumcari, NM. T. R. Gallegos from Monte Vista, Colo.

40- Jose Aquilino Suazo Age 74 of Cieneguilla, NM. Died 1 March 1910 of Pneumonia. Born in Taos, NM 4 Jan 1838. Lived in Trinidad Las Animas County, Colo for 17 years. In 1868 he married Antonia Luebano.

41- Esequiel Sandoval Age 36 years, 5 months and 8 days of Ranchos de Taos, NM. Died in his residence 4 March 1910. Born 24 Sept 1873. Survived by his wife Carmelita V. de Sandoval and Parents Roman Sandoval and his wife name not listed.

42- Marcelino Armijo was killed Tuesday last week in the evening by Jesus Maria Miera in Palo Blanco. Miera had told Armijo several times to stay out of his home and away from his wife. Armijo and Mrs. Miera were seen several times together. Tuesday Armijo returned home early. He was not expected and he found Marcelino Armijo and his wife in bed "en el acto, " in the act. " Feeling his honor dirtied and his dignity stomped on, " he shot Armijo and turned himself over to the authorities. They came to Miera's house to investigate and saw Armijo in bed naked and dead and Mrs. Miera covered in blood but unhurt.

43- James W. Reynolds died last thursday at 8:00 PM near Tucumcari, NM. He was the New Mexico State Ex-secretary and the current Superintendent of the territorial prison. He was travelling to the state of Missouri for health reasons. He was accompanied by his wife and 2 doctors, Drs. Kapp and Sloan.

44- Agustin Harmon Shot and killed Constable Ricardo Lovato in Ocate, NM. Monday March 7, 1910.

45- Maria Eulogia Baca of Quemado, NM. Died at 6:00 PM monday 20 March 1910.She was the wife of Carmel Mondragon and daughter of Casimiro Baca and Agapita Romero.

46- Celia Sandobal de Roybal of Garcia, NM. Died 6 March 1910. She was born in Ocate, NM 19 Sept 1885. Married Juan E. Roybal 30 Nov 1899. Daughter of Jose B. Sandoval and Lola Sandoval.Survived by her husband and sons Lotarioand Juan Roybal.

47- Juan Montoya Age 75 of Maxwell City, NM. Died 9 March 1910 at 12:30 PM. Survived by 4 sons and 4 daughters. Names not listed.

48- Romulo Sandoval of Springer, NM. Died 6 March 1910 at 4:00 PM. Survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters. Names not listed.

49- Maria Jose R. Medina Age 44 of Penasco, NM. Died 12 March 1910 of Pneumonia. Survived by 5 Daughters and 3 Sons. Names not listed.

50- Rafaelita Ortiz Age 16 of Ortiz, Colo. Died as a result of a fatal accident. No information on the type of accident or the date of death. Date of death notice is 15 March 1910. Survived by Parents Federico Ortiz and Maria Antonia S. de Ortiz.

51- The body of Maximiliano Martinez of Ranchitos de Abajo Taos, NM was found dead at the bottom of his well last Saturday in the morning 26 March 1910. Drs. Martin and Johnson examined the body and said that he was dead before he went into the well and that he went down feet first. It is possible that he suffered from Apoplejia (Stroke). Except for some scratches on his neck and a wound on his nose he had no signs of foul play. Witnesses said that Martinez' wife and Abel Trujillo were "in illicit relations" and on the friday night prior to the body being found they saw Trujillo hanging around the house. The Coroner jury after an investigation determined that Abel Trujillo and Mrs. Martinez were responsible for the death and ordered their arrest. They were placed under a 500 dollars bond to await the grand jury action. Maximiliano Martinez was born 8 June 1868 in Ranchitos de Arriba Taos, NM.He was the son of Leandro Martinez and Soledad Martinez. He married Celina Salas 22 Nov 1907. Survived by a son 1 year and 1 month old.

52- Jose Urbano Miera Age 18 years, 1 month and 21 days of Lyden, NM. Died 22 March 1910 at 5:00 AM.Survived by his wife Erlinda G. de Miera, a son no name listed. Father Manuel Miera; Brothers Florentino, Luriano, Flavio and Elias Miera; Sister Teresita M. de Romero.

53- Eulogia B. Mondragon Age 51 years, 18 days of Llano Quemado, NM. Died of Pneumonia 22 March 1910 at 5:00 PM. Survived by husband Carmel Mondragon, 3 sons and 1 daughter; Mother Agapita Romero.

54- Antonio Duran Age 92 of Del Norte, Colo. Died 14 April 1910. He was born in Rio de Ojo Caliente, NM. Where he married Maria De La Luz Atencio.

55- Albino Sanchez of Arroyo Hondo, NM. Died 12 April 1910. Survived by Wife Sencion L. Sanchez; Sons Nicolas, Eliseo, Felix and Malaquias Sanchez; Daughter Rosana Sanchez; Brother Abran Sanchez from Barney, NM.

56- Juan N. Herrera of Questa, NM. Was killed 29 March 1910 by Francisco M. Martinez, inside the Francisco Martinez bar/tavern where they hadsome type of disagreement. Martinez struck Juan A. Herrera with a Q stick (Billiard Pool stick) on top of the head. Martinez posted a $ 2000 dollar bond to await the next grand jury. At trial in district court 13 May 1910 he, Francisco Martinez was found not guilty.

57- Jose Manuel Martinez Age 24 years, 3 months and 15 days of Halls Peak, NM. Died 21 March 1910 at 7:00 PM. Survived by wife Maria Trinidad S. de Martinez, daughter of Carmelita S. de Sandoval. He was the son of Ernesto Martinez and Trinidad Martinez.

58- Josefita V. de Fresquez Age 30 of Chimayo, NM. Died (No date of death listed) Date of death notice 25 March 1910. Survived by Husband Pedro Fresquez and 3 children. No names listed.

59- Josefita V. de Trujillo Age 21 years and 10 months of Conegos, Colo. Died 27 March 1910. Survived by Husband Alfredo Trujillo; Parents Jose De La Luz Valdez and Victoria de Valdez.

60- Maria Carmelita Vigil de Rodarte Age 72 of Llano, NM. Died 25 march 1910 at 6:00 PM. Survived by a son and 3 daughters. No names listed.

61- Teofilo Gallegos Age 25 years, 11 months and 12 days of Costilla, NM. Died at 7:00 AM 21 March 1910. Survived by wife Fermina Arellano de Gallegos. Mother and 2 sisters. No names listed.

62- Antonio Joseph Age 65 years, 8 months of Ojo Caliente/ Taos, NM. Died (No date of death listed) Date of news paper edition Friday 22 April 1910. Born in Taos, NM 25 Aug 1846 he was a Portuguese descendant. At the age of 2 years he and his mother were taken captive in the 1847 revolt, months later they were liberated by Col. Sterling Price's army. Their residence had been destroyed. He received an excellent education. His public service includes 10 years service as a deputy New Mexico Representative to the U.S. Congress in Washington, D. C., 3 terms as justice of the peace. For many years as Territorial Representative and as a state Senator. In 1897 he was electedpresident of that body by unanimous vote. Survived by wife No name listed, Daughter Sofia; Brother John Joseph. Buried in Santa Fe, NM.

63- Matianita Varos of El Prado, NM Died 7:00 PM Thursday 7 April 1910 at the residence of Rev. Camilio Varos. Died of heart problems. Buried Taos Plaza Cemetery.

64- Catarina Mares Age 40 of Trinchera, Colo. Died 3 April 1910. Survived by husband Juan B. Moya, 4 sons and 3 daughters. No names listed. Mother Maria Socorro Abeyta. Buried at El Rito Azul, NM Cemetery.

65- Maria Cruzita M. de Leyba Age 48 of Gonzales, NM. Died 19 March 1910 5:00 AM. Suffered from Paralysis for 15 months. Survived by Husband and 4 sons. Names not listed. Buried Santiago Cemetery of Gonzales, NM.

66- Epimenia R. Dorrance Age 37 of Naranjos, NM. Died 9 April 1910 at 2:00 PM of heart problems. Survived by Husband Edwardo Dorrance. 1 brother and 2 sisters. Buried in the Naranjos, NM Cemetery.

67- James I. Atencio Age 20 of San Antonio Colo. Died 12 April 1910 at 2:00 AM. Survived by parents Ramon Martinez and Juanita Abeyta de Martinez. 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Buried in the San Antonio, Colo Cemetery 13 April 1910.

68- Marcelina Montoya of Miera, NM. Died of Pneumonia 8 April 1910. Survived by husband Pablo Aragon and 1 son; Mother Petra de Montoya and 3 brothers.

69- Desiderio Cordova Age 52 of Fuertecitos Conejos, Colo. Died 9 April 1910 9:00 AM. Survived by wife Carlota Cordova; Off springs Redolfo, Ramoncita and Agustina Cordova. Father Ramon Cordova being one of the ancient settlers of Conejos County.

70- Francisco Antonio Quintana Age 81 of Ranchitos de Abejos Taos, NM. Died 26 March 1910 at 2:00 AM. Survived by son Samuel Quintana.

71- Guadalupe F. de Varos Age 36 years, 4 months and 4 days of Arroyo Seco, NM. Died 15 April 1910. Survived by husband Perfecto Varos; Daughter Aurora and son Ramon Varos.

72- Madre Politica (Mother in law. No Names Listed) Age 57 years, 6 months and 15 days of San Isidro, NM. Died 18 March 1910. Survived by husband Jose Miguel Aragon and 9 children.

73- Jacobo Duran of Llano Largo, NM. Died 16 April 1910. Survived by parents Juan Isidoro Duran and Maria Benita M. de Duran; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

74- Francisco Abeyta Age 80 years, 1 month and 3 days of Santa Barbara, NM. Died 23 April 1910 at 2:00 AM. He was born in La Joya Rio Arriba County, NM 20 March 1830. He was married twice. In Chamisal, NM he Married Rosita Herrera. They had 5 children.

75- Patrocinia Anaya de Anaya Age 73 of Pueblo, Colo. Died 19 April 1910 in Pueblo Colo. She was born in Namiquipa, Mexico in 1837. She married Jose De La Luz Anaya in San Tomas, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1852. They came to Santa Fe, NM in 1858. They lived there for 3 years and then came to San Acasio Colo and in 1883 they moved to Pueblo, Colo where they lived for 27 years. Her husband and a child died here. Survived by daughter Panchita Anaya de Archuleta; Sons Jesus Jose an Librado Anaya; Brother Nieves Anaya from Arroyo Seco, NM.

76- Julian Vargas of Arroyo Hondo, NM. Died 18 April 1910. He was born 18 Sept 1847 in Ranchos de Taos, NM. In 1865 he married Rafaelita Vigil. They moved from Ranchos de Taos to Arroyo Hondo, NM in 1875 where he lived until his death. Survived by Wife, Sons Francisco and Ramon Vargas.

77- Vicente Maestas Age 79 of Gallina Rio Arriba County, NM. Died 3 May 1910 at 5:30 AM at his residence. Survived by a son Jose Rafael Maestas.

78- Evaristo Rivera. 20 May 1910 A Taos County, NM District Court Jury found Charles Gonzales guilty of 3rd % murder. For the murder of Evaristo Rivera and sentenced him to serve 5 to 10 years in the territorial prison.

79- Estefanita T. de Casias Age 53 years, 5 months and 9 days of Black Lake, NM. Died 26 May 1910 at 10:30 AM. Survived by husband Juan N. Casias and daughter Maclovia C. de Martinez.

80- Alberto B. Scheurich Age 39 of Taos, NM. Died 24 May 1910 at 10:30 AM. He was struck and killed by a large rock in the Tri Ballon Mine in Kelly Socorro County, NM. Where he worked as a mine inspector. He was taken to St. Joseph Albuq. NM Hospital where he died 24 May 1910 at 10:30 AM. He was a son of the deceased Aloy Scheurich and Teresina Bent. Born in Taos, NM 23 Jan 1871. He married Ana Jamson in Santa Fe, NM. Survived by his wife, mother and siblings Carlos, Lina Scheurich, Mrs. Royal Berry, Mrs. Frank Ellis and a 17 year old daughter. Name not listed.

81- Diego Martinez y Vigil Age 108 of Questa, NM. Died 12 May 1910 at 12:00 AM. He was born in Des Montes, NM. He married 3 times. Survived by one daughter of his first marriage. The wife of the deceased Eulogio Rael (Her name not listed).

82- Pacifica Sanchez Age 63 of Park View Rio Arriba County, NM. Died 23 May 1910 at 10:00 PM. She died of La Grippe (Flu) She was born in 1847. Survived by husband Juan A. Gallegos and a daughter, the wife of Manuel Maldonado.

83- Juanita G. Martinez de Vigil Age 64 of Tierra Amarilla Rio Arriba County, NM. Died 19 May 1910 She was the wife of the deceased Vicente Vigil. Survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters. Buried in the Park View, NM cemetery.

84- Tranquilina Manzanares Age 39 of Costilla, Colo. Died 22 May 1910. She married Primitivo Montoya, now deceased. Daughter of the deceased Julian Manzanares and Martelina Sanchez. Survived by mother, 2 children and a sister.

85- Jose Tobias Vigil Age 18 years and 17 days of Gualadupita Mora County NM. Died 12 June 1910 at 8:00 AM. Died of a fever. Survived by parents Manuel Vigil and Lucina M. de Vigil; Grand mother Reyes Duran 4 brothers and 2 sisters Names not listed.
