Mariá Gertrudes had six natural children. She married Toribio Enrique Salazar in 1780.  They had at least two children: María Manuela de los Dolores Salazar and Juan Antonio Salazar. Toribio was killed by Indians on 30 Jul 1787. María was deceased when her daughter María Francisca married on 7 Aug 1798.
