The family probably lived in Chimayo, NM but the baptism
records do not all indicate a place and records are from the Santa Cruz, NM
church. Candelaria and Ramona Duran's death records are from notes left by Pedro
N. Romero son of Candelaria and nephew of Ramona. The notes indicate Ramona was
an elderly lady of over 90 years and she was found dead in the ditch. It was
believed she went out at night and lost her way and fell in. Other sources; NM
Santa Cruz de la Canada Baptisms, Vol. II and III published by the NM
Genealogical Society. Marriage records from San Antonio de Penasco, LDS Film
