This is a ranch cemetery located on
private property. It's fenced and gated. There are
five graves in this little cemetery. Four of the
graves have headstones and one grave is marked only
with a wooden cross that has fallen over. Bill Kelly, a descendant of Pat Kelley, took us to
this cemetery on his property and pointed out the
graves and explained whom they were. Mr. Kelly also
told us that when Pat Kelley mustered out of the
service at the end of the Indian Wars, the
government issued him the land where the Kelly ranch
is in payment for his service to his country. We
thank Mr. Kelly for his information and hospitality.
