Not quite (can’t read) months ago, Mr. and Mrs. Hawley were married in St. Clement’s church, El Paso. After the wedding they went to Hatch to live, where Mr. Hawley ha been employed by the Reclamation Service. Mrs. Hawley was a former El Paso girl, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Livesay, now of Anthony, NM. She was reared in Marfa, Texas and spent some time in La Mesa, NM where her parents resided for several years.  She is survived by her husband, Mr. Frank D. Hawley, by two brothers, Charles F. Davis of El Paso, and Renick Livesay, now of France in his country’s service; four sisters, Mrs. Alfred Greenwood of New Marz, NM., Louise, Ruth and Katherine Livesay, all of Anthony.  Mrs. Hawley was of a quiet, sweet disposition, and had greatly endeared herself to a large host of friends, who will greatly miss her. Mrs. Hawley was a communicant of the Episcopal church, a woman of excellent Christian character.
Funeral services were held in Concordia cemetery on Friday morning, Oct 29th.  Burial was made in the Davis lot, after the Episcopal service by the Rev. Fuller Swift, rector of St. Clement’s church. The deepest sympathy of the many friends goes out to the bereaved young husband, to the father and mother, to the brothers and sisters, who mourn their loss.
