Barak Glen Barnum, Center, Four Year Letterman

Glen Barnum was the first All-State football player from Carrizozo. He earned a college scholarship.
 Glen was an Honor Student majoring in Civil Engineering at Oklahoma Panhandle State University also known as OPSU; -- Aggies.
Notice that players had no mouth guards or face guards. The pads were very basic made of leather and cloth.
Players from this era up to ca. 1970 usually had broken noses and cracked teeth from forearm impacts.
