Socorro Protestant Cemetery This is a partial index of the Socorro Protestant Cemetery. More Information will be added soon. This Cemetery was incorporated in 1902, though many burials took place prior to this date. The first plot map dates 1887. The cemetery is divided into three main areas: The Masonic, The Knights of Pithaes, and the General Association. Also there is a section belonging to the TB Sanitarium, and an area where a large number of infants were buried due to the epidemic and the area where several Civil War graves have been relocated. This cemetery section was surveyed on July 6, 2003 by Crystal Baca Slater by working Southwest to Northwest and Northeast to Southeast. You may contact Crystal here for questions or comments.
