El Descanso Cemetery is located about a half mile south of Ranchos de Taos on New Mexico Highway 518. The earliest grave recorded was 1920, the latest was 1996. The names are listed here in an order that, if read in columns, is the same in which the graves in [sic] found in the cemetery. Names are spelled as they were transcribed from the grave markers. The cemetery was recorded by NMGS member Dr. E. L. Torres of Thornton, CO (T25N—R13E, Ranchos de Toas Quadrangle map.)
